Voice calling
SIP over TLS with SRTP media, carried by WebRTC on mobile and web. Mute, hold, blind and attended transfer, multiple concurrent calls, and codec fallback when the network degrades.
Handle replaces the phone number with a single username. Claim it once and it becomes your voice line, video room, chat address and email alias — resolved in real time across every device you sign in on.
Free to claim · No phone number required · iOS, Android and web
Your handle resolves to real endpoints — SIP for voice, WebRTC for media, realtime channels for chat, an addressable alias for email. Everything below ships in the same app.
SIP over TLS with SRTP media, carried by WebRTC on mobile and web. Mute, hold, blind and attended transfer, multiple concurrent calls, and codec fallback when the network degrades.
One-to-one video and mesh group rooms with screen share, a shared whiteboard, background blur and spatial audio. TURN relay keeps calls up behind strict NAT.
Realtime one-to-one and group chat with typing indicators, read state, image and file sharing, and push notifications when the app is closed.
Your handle doubles as an addressable email identity, so the same name works for people who still live in an inbox — sent and received inside Handle.
A lightweight nudge when a call is too much and a message is too slow — a single tap that says “reach me” without opening a thread.
Rules decide where a request lands: ring your devices, route to a persona, fall back to voicemail, or hand off between SIP, WebRTC and PSTN automatically.
Screen who can reach you before your device rings. Allow, filter or silence by contact, persona and channel — spam never gets a ring tone.
Personal, business and ghost personas on the same handle — separate presence, separate routing, separate rules, one identity you own.
Connection quality sampled through every call, plus history, recordings with signed-URL playback, and summaries you can search later.
Link the channels you already use to your handle, so contacts reach one name instead of collecting five different addresses for you.
See who is available before you call. Presence, status and a lightweight feed keep your circle in view without another social account.
Optional trunking to the traditional phone network for the people who still need a number to dial you — without one being attached to your identity.
Account setup takes about a minute. Nothing here needs a SIM, a carrier or a phone number.
Sign up with an email address and a password of at least 8 characters. That login works on iOS, Android and the web app — your session follows you.
Pick 3–20 characters using lowercase letters, numbers and underscores. Availability is checked live against the registry and reserved the moment it's yours.
Connect email and the accounts you already use, set your personas and routing rules, then start calling, messaging and pinging by name.
Handle is a communications platform, so the transport is the product. Signaling, media and data each carry their own encryption, and access to your records is enforced at the database, not just in the app.
Self-hosting the whole stack — SIP server, TURN relay and database — is supported if you'd rather your traffic never leaves infrastructure you control.
Create an account, claim the name you want before someone else does, and link your channels in the same flow.
Sign in on the web, or open the app on your phone — the same account, the same handle, the same history on both.
A globally unique username that maps to your communication endpoints. When someone calls @you, the registry resolves that name to your SIP address, messaging channel, video endpoint and email alias, then sets up the session. You give out one name instead of four addresses.
No. Signup takes an email address and a password. A number is only involved if you deliberately enable the PSTN bridge so people on the traditional phone network can dial you.
Between 3 and 20 characters, using lowercase letters, numbers and underscores. Handles that would impersonate the platform — admin, support, official and similar — are reserved. If a name is taken, the app suggests close alternatives.
iOS, Android and the web app. Calls use WebRTC on all three, with SIP over secure WebSockets for signaling, so a call started on your phone works the same in a browser tab.
Yes. The SIP server, TURN relay and database can all be self-hosted on a single VPS — the deployment runbook in the repository covers ports, certificates and sizing.
Signaling and API traffic run over TLS, and voice and video media are encrypted with DTLS-SRTP. Message content is protected in transit and guarded at rest by row-level security policies; end-to-end encrypted messaging is on the roadmap, not shipped yet, so we don't claim it here.
Claiming is free, takes a minute, and reserves the handle across voice, video, chat and email at once.
